During this past weekend, the National Socialist Movement, a group of neo-Nazis, marched through the streets of Phoenix with a number of the national flag and various signs against illegal immigration. Although the neo-Nazi group came out of Detroit, members came out to Phoenix to increase support. While the neo-Nazis marched down Jefferson Avenue, they encountered groups of Arizona residents who opposed their rally.
Is it not the different ethnicities, backgrounds, and colors that represent what America is about? Diversity and cultural enrichment are vital to this country.
To give you a little background information, the National Socialist Movement was founded in 1974 by Robert Brannen and Clifford Herrington. Since then, the NSM established headquarters in Detroit, Michigan under the leadership of Jeff Schoep. The NSM, since 1974, has created a mission dedicated to denying citizenship to Jews, nonwhites, and homosexuals- a mission the NSM believes will ultimately result in a "greater America." Since 2006, the group has experienced many setbacks, but immigration rallys are to remain strong. Back in the spring of 2007, the NSM purchased a website, New Saxon, to spread their ideology.
We cannot deny a human being the right to enter this beautiful country we call our home. As U.S. citizens travel around the world for business meetings, vacations, getaways, etc., think about how easy it might be for you to pick up your passport and fly to another country why people from accross the globe have a harder time to enter the United States.
